Working within a multi-disciplined web environment on long to short term projects. From a 120+ site responsive upgrade of our websites, to short change requests. Other tasks include supporting commercial teams, scripts for departmental solutions, design, bug fixing and general development.
GIT I lead the team on bringing about a GIT process, whereby we have weekly releases for front-end code that is used globally across all our sites, or changes that effect our CMS. This has been so successful that we have moved to the server-side team using GIT.
Site Speed After some commercially led additions, our sites were performing below average. I lead our team on a rapid assessment of what was impacting our pages, then subsequently the stabilisation of our sites. Analysing web data in this way, has made me approach builds in a more more critical fashion.
